Commerce Strategy Manager
The Commerce Strategy Manager at WPP Media will oversee activations across various Retail Media networks, including but not limited to Amazon, Mercado Libre, Criteo, Rappi, and Walmart. This role involves implementing necessary optimizations and communicating recommendations to clients to ensure overall objectives are met. The manager will maintain excellent relationships with key client and agency stakeholders to maximize opportunities and help them navigate the Commerce activation landscape.
Key responsibilities include ensuring ongoing compliance with WPP Media's guidelines and best practices, leading the implementation of optimization strategies and multichannel testing, and supporting the team in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly campaign performance reports. The manager will summarize and interpret key data points, identify trends, and recommend actions to deliver an optimal customer experience. Additionally, they will ensure the resolution of technical issues related to media campaigns and stay updated on changes in market dynamics regarding advertising products, technology, and measurement across programmatic and search partners.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in biddable media execution, with a strong preference for Retail Media. Advanced English proficiency is required. The candidate should possess an in-depth understanding of Retail Media elements, such as profit margin, inventory levels, forecasting, and planning, to effectively communicate strategic decisions. A deep understanding of how different media channels work together and how Retail Media fits into the broader ecosystem is essential. Experience managing and optimizing campaigns across multiple retail platforms (e.g., Amazon, Instacart, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Criteo, Google, Meta) is also required.
