Client Due Diligence Specialist
Experian is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Client Due Diligence Specialist to support the credentialing and third-party due diligence processes for onboarding clients, vendors, partners, or third parties. This role involves financial and legal document review, KYC verification, technology due diligence, and coordination with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in banking or financial services, with a strong grasp of compliance and operational risk associated with third parties. It is preferred that the candidate has worked in middle office operations.
Key responsibilities include performing due diligence of vendors, partners, and clients, including financial and legal reviews. The specialist will analyze financial statements to assess partner viability, review documentation for completeness and compliance, and assess privacy, security, and IT competency of third parties. Additionally, the role involves performing KYC checks, monitoring credentialing timelines, flagging potential risks, maintaining organized records, preparing reports, supporting internal audits, liaising with various teams, and contributing to refining due diligence procedures.
The position requires a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with 5–8 years of experience in banking middle office operations, financial services, or compliance operations. Familiarity with financial analysis and KYC/AML processes is essential. Preferred experience includes working in credentialing, onboarding, third-party due diligence, or middle-office functions. Key soft skills include attention to detail, analytical thinking, clear communication, effective team collaboration, time management, integrity, and problem-solving abilities.
