Case Manager/Pre-Litigation Paralegal

The Case Manager/Pre-Litigation Paralegal at Morgan & Morgan plays a crucial role in supporting attorneys during the pre-litigation phase of personal injury cases. This position is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and offers an opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to advocating for clients' rights.

Key responsibilities include daily interactions with clients, both existing and potential, through telephone and in-person meetings. The role involves ordering medical records from providers, communicating with clients and providers throughout the treatment process, and obtaining necessary documents to support injury and liability positions. Additionally, the Case Manager will interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, maintain organized case files, and prepare comprehensive demand packages under the direct supervision of an attorney.

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree (preferred) and have prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. At least two years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. Excellent writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail, are also required.
