Case Manager

Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves working closely with attorneys to manage a diverse caseload, ensuring efficient case progression and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, empathetic, and committed to upholding our mission of protecting the people, not the powerful.

As a Case Manager, you will interact daily with clients, both existing and potential, through telephone and in-person communications. Your responsibilities will include ordering medical records from providers, obtaining necessary documents to support injury and liability positions, and interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances. Additionally, you will maintain organized case files, prepare comprehensive demands for submission to carriers under attorney supervision, and manage case files from intake to closing.

The position requires a bachelor's degree (preferred) and prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. Candidates should have at least two years of experience working as an insurance adjuster or pre-litigation paralegal. Strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. The ability to type at least 35 words per minute and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment is also required.
