Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Miami, Florida. This role involves working closely with attorneys to provide support before, during, and after trials, ensuring the firm's mission of "For the People" is upheld.

Key responsibilities include preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. The paralegal will also e-file court documents in state and federal courts, communicate with clients, courts, counsel, and others, conduct legal research and factual investigations, and prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Additional duties encompass drafting and serving summons, coordinating and summarizing depositions, preparing trial binders and exhibits, and assisting with case settlements.

Candidates should possess an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with at least 2 years of litigation experience. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or other injury-related practice areas is advantageous. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute, is also required.
