Business Development Representative (UK&I Markets)
Diligent Corporation is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) for the UK&I Markets to drive growth by identifying and engaging potential clients. This role is integral to expanding Diligent's presence in the region, offering an opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing company focused on delivering innovative governance, risk, and compliance solutions.
As a BDR, you will be responsible for prospecting new business opportunities, building outbound pipelines, and acting as a brand ambassador for Diligent's products. Your daily activities will include utilizing lead generation tools to create targeted prospect lists, conducting outreach via email, phone, and social media, and qualifying decision-makers through strategic questioning. Additionally, you will coordinate meetings and demonstrations for account executives, log activities in the CRM, and strive to meet or exceed established targets and key performance indicators.
Ideal candidates should possess a strong passion for sales in a target-driven environment, with a solid understanding of the sales process, including marketing, prospecting, cold calling, and managing the sales cycle. Exceptional communication skills are essential, with a proven ability to engage and influence senior-level executives. Experience in SaaS sales and building relationships at the c-suite level is preferred.
