Business Development Representative I
Diligent Corporation is seeking a Business Development Representative I (BDR I) to drive growth by identifying and engaging potential clients. This role involves building an outbound pipeline and acting as a brand ambassador for Diligent's products. The BDR I should possess strong conversational skills and in-depth product knowledge to meet outbound targets. Key responsibilities include utilizing lead generation tools to extract contacts and create targeted prospect lists, conducting sales development activities through email, phone, and social media, and qualifying decision-makers with targeted questions. The BDR I will also coordinate meetings and demonstrations for account executives, log activities in the CRM, and strive to meet or exceed targets and key performance indicators. Assisting team members with effective techniques to drive overall performance may also be required.
Candidates should have a strong passion for working in a sales-focused, target-driven environment, with a solid understanding of the sales process, including marketing, prospecting, cold calling, and managing the sales cycle. Exceptional communication skills, with a track record of engaging and influencing senior-level executives, are essential. Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, along with a high energy and positive attitude, are also important. Experience in SaaS sales and building strong stakeholder relationships at the C-suite level are preferred.
