Business Development Representative, Enterprise
Braze is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Enterprise team, focusing on large-scale companies with over 5,000 employees. As a BDR, you will play a pivotal role in driving Braze's growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects within these enterprise accounts. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with Account Executives to help B2C brands discover how Braze can transform their customer engagement strategies.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include conducting high-level conversations with C-suite executives to understand their business goals and challenges, particularly in customer engagement and marketing. You will develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns via phone, email, LinkedIn, and video to generate new business opportunities. Collaborating with Account Executives, you will strategize on territory plans and prioritize high-potential accounts. Additionally, maintaining accurate activity and pipeline data in Salesforce is essential to track progress and success.
Ideal candidates will have at least 8 months of experience in outbound prospecting, sales, or customer-facing roles. Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to craft compelling outreach and articulate reasoning behind strategies. A genuine interest in marketing technology (martech), SaaS, and customer-brand interactions is highly valued. Candidates should be adaptable, action-oriented, and possess strong research and problem-solving abilities. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is advantageous.
Braze offers a competitive compensation package that includes base salary and uncapped commission, allowing for significant earning potential. Benefits vary by location and may include comprehensive health coverage, retirement plans, flexible paid time off, and professional development opportunities. The company fosters a collaborative and energetic team environment, emphasizing teamwork and work-life harmony. BDRs are expected to work in the office a minimum of three days a week, promoting a dynamic learning environment.
Joining Braze means becoming part of a rapidly growing company that values high standards, teamwork, and continuous learning. As a BDR, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills, contribute to the company's success, and advance within the sales organization. If you are driven to solve challenges and have a bias toward action, Braze provides an environment where you can make a real impact.
