The Business Development Representative II at OneTrust is a pivotal role within the sales team, focusing on generating new business opportunities by engaging with potential customers. OneTrust is a rapidly growing SaaS enterprise platform dedicated to enabling organizations to use data and AI responsibly. The company invests heavily in its sales team through demand generation, methodology-driven sales philosophy, weekly sales trainings, customer-driven roadmaps, and a readily available executive team to help close deals.

Key responsibilities include qualifying inbound leads from website and marketing campaigns, taking primary ownership of the named account strategy, and communicating effectively with all levels of key decision-makers. The role also involves building strong relationships with internal and external customers, delivering presentations, coordinating meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives, and maintaining strong relationships with prospects throughout the entire sales process. Additionally, the representative is expected to demonstrate a knowledgeable understanding of the full array of OneTrust's offerings to answer questions and make recommendations when speaking to customers or prospects.

Candidates should have at least 1-3 years of sales experience and a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or Communications, or equivalent experience in a related field. Experience meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual goals and reviewing one's own work for thoroughness, quality, and accuracy is essential. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM solutions and previous cold call experience are preferred.

The position offers a competitive salary with uncapped commission potential. For candidates based in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington, the annual base pay range is $52,500 to $60,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
