Business Development Manager
Actionstep is seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead the outbound pipeline for its UK operations. This role is integral to driving the company's growth in the legal practice management software sector. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Account Executives and represent Actionstep at industry events.
In this position, you will be responsible for generating over £2 million in qualified leads annually through targeted outreach, events, referrals, networking, and partnerships across the UK legal market. You will define and document the outbound sales process, ensuring a seamless handoff to Account Executives. Additionally, you will build a deep network within UK law firms and track pipeline metrics to inform strategic decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building high-quality outbound pipelines in B2B SaaS environments, with a strong understanding of the legal sector. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is proficiency with tools like Salesforce and Experience selling into UK law firms or professional services and an existing network in the UK legal market are highly desirable.
Compensation includes a base salary of £60,000-£70,000, with an on-target earnings (OTE) of £110,000-£120,000, offering uncapped commission above plan.
