Bookkeeper
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date, and well‑organized financial records. This role ensures that all financial transactions are properly recorded, financial reports are prepared on time, and administrative accounting processes run smoothly. The position is essential for supporting the company’s financial health, operational efficiency, and internal compliance.
Responsibilities
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, payments, and deposits
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and account statements
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Maintain the general ledger and supporting accounting records
• Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
• Coordinate with vendors and clients to resolve billing or payment discrepancies
• Organize and maintain physical and digital accounting files
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal procedures
• Collaborate with the finance team during month‑end and year‑end close
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP Business One, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills (basic formulas, pivot tables)
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP knowledge preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities
