Attorney - Hasbro Gaming
Hasbro is seeking an Attorney to join its Global Games Legal Team, supporting the Hasbro Gaming division. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to protect and develop iconic game brands such as Monopoly, Scrabble, and Clue. The position is based in Boston, MA, with a hybrid work schedule of on-site presence from Tuesday to Thursday.
The Attorney will serve as the primary legal advisor for the Hasbro Games business, providing counsel on intellectual property, licensing, advertising, promotions, privacy, regulatory compliance, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating various agreements, guiding product development and marketing campaigns, and supporting licensing deals that expand Hasbro's game brands into new platforms and experiences.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school, active bar membership in good standing, and 4 to 8 years of legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house setting. Experience in the games, toys, consumer products, or entertainment industries is advantageous. Strong skills in drafting and negotiating intellectual property, commercial, and technology agreements are required, along with experience advising on AI and emerging technologies. A solid understanding of copyright, trademark, and rights of publicity laws, as well as knowledge of digital, data, and privacy law, is essential.
The compensation for this role ranges from $137,200 to $205,900 USD annually, depending on experience, skills, location, and market conditions.
