Attorney - Global Brands & Product Technology
Hasbro is seeking an Attorney to join its Global Brands and Product Technology Legal Team. This role involves providing legal counsel on intellectual property, licensing, marketing, and technology-related matters, supporting relationships with premier play and entertainment partners, and advising global teams on product development, marketing, sales, concept acquisition, and technology-focused initiatives.
Key responsibilities include serving as a trusted legal advisor on intellectual property, licensing, marketing and advertising, promotions, social and digital media, privacy, regulatory and compliance matters, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, and contract interpretation. The attorney will draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial, IP, and technology agreements, including IP licenses, technology and development agreements, AI-related agreements, concept and submission agreements, consulting and talent agreements, marketing and promotion agreements, and confidentiality agreements. Additionally, the role involves advising on legal risks related to AI tools, technology platforms, and data-enabled products, and providing legal guidance across product development, packaging, and advertising and marketing materials on various platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school, active bar membership in good standing, and 4–8 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house environment. Strong experience drafting and negotiating intellectual property, commercial, and technology-related agreements is essential. Demonstrated experience using AI-enabled tools and advising on AI and emerging technology issues, along with a solid understanding of intellectual property law, digital, technology, data, and privacy issues, is required. Excellent judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver practical, business-focused legal advice, are also necessary.
The base salary range for this position is $132,600 to $198,900, with the hiring range varying based on factors such as experience, skills, location, and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
