Associate Technologist

As an Associate Technologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the assembly, maintenance, and operation of process equipment within the company's engineering testing facilities. Your responsibilities will include installing and assembling process and auxiliary equipment, operating heavy machinery such as forklifts and overhead hoists, assisting with commissioning and acceptance testing of new equipment, and performing routine maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical systems. Additionally, you will monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Ideal candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or a related technical field. Experience in industrial operations, such as in aviation, heavy machinery, electronics, chemicals, power plants, or military settings, is highly desirable. Familiarity with instrumentation and control systems is also beneficial. The role requires the ability to work with hazardous materials while wearing personal protective equipment, operate plant equipment, read and interpret technical documents, and communicate effectively within a collaborative team environment.
