Associate, Supply Chain Engineering
The Associate, Supply Chain Engineering at Hut 8 plays a pivotal role in supporting the company's expanding infrastructure portfolio. This position is integral to managing the procure-to-pay lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and coordinating logistics to meet project requirements. The role involves close collaboration with various teams, including Engineering, Construction, Finance/AP, Legal, and Operations, to enhance order accuracy and minimize execution risks across capital projects.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the entire procure-to-pay process, from purchase request intake to invoice reconciliation and closeout. The associate will serve as a central coordination point among internal teams and external suppliers, validating scope, pricing, specifications, and delivery terms before issuing purchase orders. Additionally, the role involves monitoring payment milestones, maintaining auditable purchasing records, and proactively expediting suppliers to confirm production schedules and committed ship dates.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, with 2-3 years of experience in supply chain operations, procure-to-pay processes, logistics coordination, or project-based supply chain environments. Demonstrated experience in managing purchase orders, expediting suppliers, and coordinating deliveries is essential. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple high-value orders simultaneously are also required. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or Odoo is preferred.
