Associate Manufacturing Engineer
The Associate Manufacturing Engineer at Legend Biotech US will be integral to the company's mission of developing and manufacturing innovative cell therapies for oncology and other indications. This role is situated within the Global Manufacturing & Supply team, which focuses on supporting clinical trials and manufacturing commercial CAR-T therapies for patients across the United States. The team operates out of the Raritan, New Jersey facility, a key site in Legend Biotech's expanding global manufacturing network.
In this position, the Associate Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process of cell therapies, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and assisting in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes. The role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements. Additionally, the engineer will participate in the training of manufacturing staff and contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and GMP regulations. Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is preferred, along with proficiency in process optimization and problem-solving. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential.
