Associate General Counsel, LATAM
The Associate General Counsel, LATAM, will be a key member of OKX's legal team, focusing on legal matters across Latin America. This role involves providing strategic legal guidance to support the company's operations and growth in the region. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities include advising on corporate governance, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance specific to the LATAM market. The role also involves managing legal risks, handling disputes, and supporting business development initiatives. Daily tasks will require collaboration with cross-functional teams to address legal challenges and opportunities.
Candidates should possess a Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree, with at least 5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably within the fintech or cryptocurrency sectors. Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is essential, along with a strong understanding of LATAM legal systems. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are also required.
