The Associate Director, Global Commercial at WPP Media is a pivotal role within the Global Commercial team, responsible for managing multi-million-dollar international contracts for some of the world's most recognizable brands. This position involves leading complex negotiations, building strong client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth while ensuring contract compliance and maximizing profitability. The role may also include overseeing a team of Commercial Managers and Analysts.

Key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing opportunities for revenue growth, developing competitive pricing and remuneration models, and implementing commercial strategies aligned with agency goals and client objectives. The Associate Director will oversee all commercial aspects of assigned client accounts, ensuring meticulous contract compliance, accurate reporting, adherence to payment terms, and effective incentive management. Additionally, the role involves serving as the primary commercial contact for a portfolio of global clients, fostering strong relationships, managing client communications, and providing expert commercial guidance.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various pricing models and the ability to recommend and implement changes to optimize financial outcomes. Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders is essential, along with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Experience in negotiating client contracts, a proactive problem-solving approach, and the ability to work autonomously are also required. Strong organizational and project management skills, the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and the capability to delegate effectively and support the development of junior staff are important attributes for this role.
