Associate Data Modeller
Experian is seeking an Associate Data Modeller to join our Analytics department. In this role, you will report to the Data Modeller Manager and collaborate with both internal and external clients to develop and implement analytical solutions. As an Associate Data Modeller, your primary responsibilities will include extracting, formulating, and manipulating data to create structured samples that meet project requirements. You will follow best practices throughout the analytics solution delivery process, implement quality control procedures for all modeling and analysis reporting, and perform audits to support the implementation of analytical solutions and decision tools. Additionally, you will coordinate data receipt and delivery with clients and oversee the workload of junior data modellers to ensure project commitments are met within agreed schedules.
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in a numerically intensive field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics, along with at least two years of experience in data analytics. Proficiency in statistical software packages and related technologies is essential, as is fluency in both written and spoken English. A working knowledge of Python, including its main analytical packages like Pandas, Numpy, and scikit-learn, is required. An understanding of analytical approaches, including regression analysis and machine learning, as well as a grasp of probability, statistical inference, optimization algorithms, linear algebra, and calculus, are also necessary. Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI will be considered an advantage.
