Associate Attorney
Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will develop compelling case strategies, manage court appearances, depositions, motion practices, and trials independently. Collaboration with attorneys and staff at all experience levels is essential, as is maintaining consistent and professional communication with clients. Building and nurturing relationships with existing and prospective clients, as well as mentoring junior attorneys, are key aspects of the position.
The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and an active bar license in the state of California. We seek individuals with 1–8 years of solid litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation. The ability to independently manage a full caseload from discovery through trial is crucial. Prior insurance defense experience is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $115,000 to $160,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Attorneys are eligible for an annual billable hours bonus starting at $10,000, with additional tiers available.
