Associate Attorney
Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team specializing in insurance defense litigation. The position is based in California and offers flexibility with remote work options.
The Associate Attorney will be responsible for developing effective case strategies, managing court appearances, conducting depositions, engaging in motion practice, and preparing for trials. The role requires collaboration with attorneys and staff at all levels, maintaining professional communication with clients, and contributing to the firm's growth by mentoring junior attorneys.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and hold an active bar license in the state of California. The firm seeks individuals with 1–8 years of litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation. Prior experience in insurance defense is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, along with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, is essential.
Tyson & Mendes offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary ranging from $115,000 to $160,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
