Associate Attorney
Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their Denver, Colorado office. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team at a nationally recognized litigation firm specializing in insurance defense. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for developing case strategies, managing court appearances, conducting depositions, engaging in motion practice, and preparing for trials. The role requires independent management of a full caseload from discovery through trial, while maintaining consistent and professional communication with clients and collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff at all levels.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and hold an active bar license in the state of Colorado. A minimum of 1-3 years of insurance defense experience is required, along with 1-8 years of solid litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with litigation timekeeping and billing systems, is essential.
The base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
