Associate Applied (AI) Value Engineer (Scale EMEA/German-Speaking) - Orbit Program
The Associate Applied (AI) Value Engineer (Scale EMEA/German-Speaking) - Orbit Program at Celonis is a dynamic role designed for individuals passionate about integrating AI solutions into business processes. As part of the Value Engineering team, you will collaborate with strategic clients across the EMEA region, focusing on the DACH area, to address complex challenges by leveraging Celonis' Process Intelligence platform in conjunction with leading AI and ML technologies. This position is based in Madrid, Spain, and involves travel to meet clients in person.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include understanding clients' AI strategies and business-critical challenges, translating these into innovative solutions using Celonis' platform. You will engage in hackathons and prototyping to rapidly develop AI-driven solutions, support clients in deploying autonomous AI agents, and execute end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects. Additionally, you will deliver impactful presentations to senior executives, ensuring successful implementation and value realization, and contribute to the Global Value Engineering Center of Excellence by creating reusable collateral and best practices.
Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Engineering, Data Analytics/Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field, with excellent academic performance. A strong understanding of generative AI techniques, such as RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, and multi-agent orchestration, is essential. Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries (e.g., LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch) is required, along with a customer-centric mindset and the ability to present confidently to diverse audiences. Fluency in German and English is mandatory; additional European languages are a plus.
