Associate Applied (AI) Value Engineer (Japan) - Orbit Program
Celonis is seeking an Associate Applied (AI) Value Engineer for its Orbit Graduate Program, a 12-month initiative designed to immerse early-career professionals in enterprise software and AI solutions. This role involves a year-long onboarding period in Madrid, Spain, followed by relocation to Tokyo, Japan, to serve the company's Japanese clientele. As part of the Value Engineering team, the engineer will act as a trusted advisor, bridging technology and business to deliver impactful AI-driven solutions.
In this capacity, the engineer will engage directly with strategic customers to comprehend their AI strategies and business challenges. Responsibilities include prototyping AI solutions, conducting proof-of-concept projects, and presenting business impacts to executives. The role also entails building and coding within the Celonis platform using SQL, PQL, and Python, and ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of AI solutions to drive value realization.
Candidates should possess a degree in Engineering, Data Analytics/Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field, with excellent academic performance. Ideal applicants will have extensive internship experience or 1-2 years of full-time work experience, particularly at the intersection of business and technology. A strong understanding of generative AI techniques, proficiency in Python and common machine learning libraries (such as LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch), and fluency in both Japanese and English are essential.
