The Assistant Media Planner at WPP Media plays a crucial role in supporting the media planning team by assisting with budget preparation, resolving billing discrepancies, conducting analyses and reporting, and developing media proposals. Key responsibilities include handling day-to-day client requests, reviewing vendor contracts for accuracy, generating schedules for client teams, and assisting in the preparation of presentations. The role also involves analyzing and preparing mid and post-buy reports, updating internal status documents, utilizing research tools for planning and reporting, studying demographic data to identify target audiences, analyzing the competitive landscape, developing agency perspectives on media opportunities, and resolving billing discrepancies.

Candidates should be digitally savvy, demonstrating a passion for emerging media and proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics. A solid understanding of media basics and concepts is essential, along with proficiency in DDS, Infosys, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Vividata). Strong written and verbal communication skills are also required.
