Assistant Media Buyer

The Assistant Media Buyer at WPP Media will collaborate with the Investment team to support the delivery of effective media buying strategies across broadcast and digital platforms for assigned clients. This role is integral to ensuring that media campaigns are executed efficiently and align with client objectives.

Key responsibilities include entering and maintaining media buys in proprietary systems such as MediaOcean and Prisma, managing and stewarding ongoing campaigns, assisting with client financials including budget reconciliation and management, and resolving billing discrepancies. The Assistant Media Buyer will also keep the Client Service Team informed of buy authorizations, tracking reports, and any changes, as well as generate campaign reports and monitor campaign delivery using tools like Numeris.

Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to learn quickly and multitask, and a collaborative work ethic. A positive disposition, attention to detail, accuracy, and mathematical competency are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, solid organizational skills, and a driven desire to develop and excel in a media career are also required. Previous internship experience in an agency and a college or university education are considered assets.
