Assistant City Solicitor - Child Welfare Unit

The City of Philadelphia is seeking an Assistant City Solicitor to join its Child Welfare Unit (CWU) within the Law Department. This role involves representing the Department of Human Services (DHS) in dependency matters, including child abuse and neglect cases, in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia – Family Division. The CWU is a collegial and fast-paced team where attorneys are expected to independently manage their caseloads from start to finish, with appropriate training and supervision provided.
