Applied Value Engineer- CPGR/CMT-NAM

The Applied Value Engineer for CPGR/CMT-NAM at Celonis is a pivotal role within the Value Engineering team, focusing on delivering tailored AI-driven solutions to strategic clients in the Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail sectors. This role is based in Bangalore, India, and involves close collaboration with global teams to drive impactful business transformations.

In this position, the Applied Value Engineer will engage directly with clients to understand their AI strategies and business challenges, translating these insights into innovative solutions using Celonis' Process Intelligence platform. Responsibilities include conducting AI discovery sessions, leading hackathons to prototype solutions, and supporting clients in deploying autonomous AI agents to enhance operational efficiency. The role also involves executing end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and realization of value.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in technical pre-sales, with a strong background in AI roadmap development, ROI business case creation, and prototyping machine learning and generative AI solutions. Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail industries is essential. Proficiency in generative AI techniques, such as RAG, few-shot learning, and prompt engineering, is required. A solid understanding of business processes in sectors like Supply Chain or Finance, along with strong Python skills and familiarity with ML libraries like LangChain, pandas, and PyTorch, is necessary. Excellent presentation skills to engage both internal and external stakeholders are also important.

While not mandatory, experience in building agentic systems using LLM orchestration, RAG, and prompt engineering is advantageous. Familiarity with tools in the LLM ecosystem, such as LangChain and LlamaIndex, and experience deploying models at scale across major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP are beneficial.
