The Analyst, Legal Operations at White & Case is a pivotal role within the firm's global Legal Project Management (LPM) team, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and client service delivery. This position supports key client portfolios by providing insights, tracking budgets, and reporting on financial data, while also assisting the legal team with its financial and operational functions. The role is based in the firm's New York office.

Key responsibilities include assisting with matter management, developing and maintaining statistical measures for portfolio-level reporting, tracking and adjusting budgets for client matters, and responding to ad hoc reporting requests from partners, attorneys, or management. The analyst will also facilitate effective engagement with the client relationship, support the development and improvement of infrastructure, and build collaborative relationships across departments.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A strong academic record, preferably at the graduate level, and/or a formal Project Management Qualification (e.g., APMQ or PMP) is advantageous. Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, or legal operations, ideally within a law firm, is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas), and familiarity with financial systems and reports are essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive attitude are also important.
