The role includes executing manual tests on APIs, services, and distributed applications, as well as designing, implementing, and validating integration, regression, contract, and load tests for microservices-based systems. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in agile environments is essential to ensure best practices in quality, documentation, standardization, and traceability of tests.
Candidates should have solid experience in quality assurance, particularly with API and backend service testing. A strong understanding of functional and non-functional testing, design patterns, and clean architecture is required. Proficiency in testing relational databases like PostgreSQL and SQL Server, as well as non-relational databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Redis, is essential. Experience with API testing tools like Bruno and Postman, along with familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, is also expected.
