In this role, the Senior Analyst is responsible for conducting independent validations of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and financial crime detection models across IBKR's global entities. The analyst will develop and execute validation test scripts using Python and SQL, assess model accuracy and performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, maintaining organized records of validation activities and preparing comprehensive reports are essential aspects of the role.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related quantitative field. A minimum of three years of experience in model validation, model development, or quantitative analysis is required, with at least one year specifically in AML or financial crime model validation. Proficiency in Python and NoSQL for data analysis, along with expert-level SQL skills, is essential. A strong understanding of AML/BSA regulations, OFAC sanctions, and financial crime typologies is also necessary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
