Alaska Attorney - Staff or Senior
The Center for Biological Diversity is seeking a dedicated and experienced attorney to join our Alaska team as a Staff or Senior Attorney. This role involves working within a dynamic legal team committed to protecting Alaska's unique wildlife and ecosystems through strategic litigation and advocacy.
The attorney will be responsible for developing and implementing legal strategies to safeguard Alaska's environment. This includes drafting legal documents, representing the Center in court proceedings, and collaborating with other conservation organizations and stakeholders to advance environmental protection efforts.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice law in Alaska or eligible for admission. A minimum of three years of litigation experience, preferably in environmental law, is required. Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills are essential.
