Account Specialist (Palm Springs, CA)

This remote-based role requires flexibility and willingness to travel within the specified region and for company-related purposes as needed. The Account Specialist will be integral to the company's commercialization efforts, engaging healthcare providers and building strong customer relationships to drive commercial performance.
In this role, the Account Specialist will execute territory business plans to achieve and exceed sales goals, develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders, and drive product adoption through effective customer engagement and education. They will navigate complex patient pathways to support therapy access and collaborate with Market Access, Strategic Accounts, Patient Services, and Medical teams to optimize customer and patient outcomes. Additionally, the Account Specialist will support launch execution, including pre-launch planning and post-launch adoption strategies, leverage field insights to inform strategy, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
Candidates should have over five years of direct sales experience in central nervous system or specialty pharmaceuticals, with a deep understanding of complex patient pathways and specialist prescriber dynamics. Experience in recent product launches, formulary access strategies, and early market penetration tactics is highly preferred. Familiarity with hospital systems, integrated delivery networks, and institutional accounts is advantageous. A proven track record of strong, consistent performance against quotas and territory goals is essential.
The annualized base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $192,000 USD.
