Account Specialist (Shreveport, LA)

The company is seeking an Account Specialist to join their team in Shreveport, Louisiana. This remote-based role requires flexibility and willingness to travel within the specified region and for company-related purposes as needed.
In this role, the Account Specialist will execute territory business plans to achieve and exceed sales goals. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders, driving product adoption through effective customer engagement and education, navigating complex patient pathways to support therapy access, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize customer and patient outcomes. The specialist will also support launch execution, including pre-launch planning and post-launch adoption strategies, leverage field insights to inform strategy, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of direct sales experience in CNS or specialty pharmaceuticals, with a deep understanding of complex patient pathways and specialist prescriber dynamics. Experience with formulary access strategies, early market penetration tactics, and selling into hospital systems, IDNs, and institutional accounts is preferred. A demonstrated track record of strong, consistent performance against quota and territory goals is essential.
The annualized base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $192,000 USD.
