Account Executive - Strategic Accounts
Diligent Corporation is seeking an Account Executive for Strategic Accounts to drive revenue growth and deepen customer engagement in Munich, Germany. This role involves expanding product adoption among existing clients and introducing new clients to Diligent's cutting-edge governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions. As an individual contributor, the Account Executive will engage prospects, manage a robust pipeline, deliver accurate forecasts, and close deals, acting as a trusted advisor and strategist.
Key responsibilities include proactively building deep knowledge of Diligent's products and business priorities, prospecting new and existing business within a designated territory, adopting a solutions-selling approach, developing and executing account plans to meet revenue targets, coordinating with sales stakeholders, creating specialized business plans for customers, leading feedback processes with product management, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, effectively utilizing sales tools, and maintaining accurate records and forecasts.
The ideal candidate will have over four years of success in account management and new business acquisition, preferably within highly regulated industries, SaaS, or the GRC space. Proven experience in sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger, and Command of the Message is essential. The ability to build trust and influence senior leaders, a passion for continuous learning, exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, and fluency in both German and English are required.
