Account Executive, Commercial - Mid Market
Smartsheet is seeking a dynamic and proactive Account Executive to join our Commercial Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving software sales and expanding our presence within a designated territory of mid-market accounts. As a key member of our sales team, you will identify growth opportunities and engage clients to address their needs before they arise.
Your primary responsibilities will include building and managing a sales pipeline to meet or exceed software and services sales quotas. You will execute a solution-based sales process involving multiple groups within our commercial mature accounts, typically ranging from 500 to 4,999 employees. Additionally, you will develop new business opportunities within existing customers by analyzing and proactively targeting high-value needs across various departments and lines of business.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of full sales cycle management experience with a proven track record in the SaaS industry. A minimum of 3 years managing customer relationships in a B2B environment is essential. You should possess a thorough understanding of the SaaS evaluation process and the ability to execute each stage in the sales cycle. Experience working with multiple functional departments and roles to manage the customer lifecycle from initial engagement through implementation to renewal is also required.
Smartsheet offers a competitive base salary range of $75,000 to $95,000 USD, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
