Smartsheet is seeking a dynamic and proactive Account Executive to join our Commercial Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving software sales and expanding our presence within a designated territory of mid-market accounts. As a key member of the team, you will identify growth opportunities and engage clients to address their needs before they arise.

Your primary responsibilities will include building and managing a sales pipeline to meet or exceed software and services sales quotas. You will execute a solution-based sales process involving multiple groups within our commercial mature accounts, typically ranging from 500 to 4,999 employees. Additionally, you will develop new business opportunities within existing customers by analyzing and proactively targeting high-value needs across various departments and lines of business.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of full sales cycle management experience with a proven track record in the SaaS industry. You should possess at least three years of experience managing customer relationships in a B2B environment and a thorough understanding of the SaaS evaluation process. Proficiency in CRM and business intelligence software, such as Salesforce and Tableau, is essential, along with a passion for working with new technologies and technical concepts. A bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education is required.

Smartsheet offers a competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 USD, depending on factors such as professional experience, education, skills, and location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for a market-competitive incentive opportunity.
