Account Executive, Commercial - Mid Market
Smartsheet is seeking a dynamic and proactive Account Executive to join our Commercial Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving software sales and expanding our presence within a designated territory of mid-market accounts. As part of a collaborative team, you will identify growth opportunities and deliver tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Your primary responsibilities will include building and managing a robust sales pipeline to achieve or exceed software and services sales quotas. You will execute a solution-based sales process that engages multiple stakeholders within commercial accounts ranging from 500 to 4,999 employees. Additionally, you will develop new business opportunities within existing customers by proactively targeting high-value needs across various departments and lines of business.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of full sales cycle management experience with a proven track record in the SaaS industry. You should possess at least three years of experience managing customer relationships in a B2B environment and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the SaaS evaluation process. Proficiency in using CRM and business intelligence software, such as Salesforce and Tableau, to track activities and gain territory insights is essential. A bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education is required.
Smartsheet offers a competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
