Account Executive, Commercial - Mid Market

Smartsheet is seeking a dynamic and proactive Account Executive to join our Commercial Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving software sales and expanding our presence within a designated territory of mid-market accounts. As a key member of our sales team, you will identify growth opportunities and engage clients to address their needs before they arise.

Your primary responsibilities will include building and managing a sales pipeline to meet or exceed software and services sales quotas. You will execute a solution-based sales process involving multiple stakeholders within commercial accounts ranging from 500 to 4,999 employees. Additionally, you will develop new business opportunities within existing customers by analyzing and targeting high-value needs across various departments and lines of business.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of full sales cycle management experience with a proven track record in the SaaS industry. You should possess a thorough understanding of the SaaS evaluation process and the ability to execute each stage of the sales cycle. Experience in managing customer relationships in a B2B environment and working across multiple functional departments is essential. Proficiency in CRM and BI software, such as Salesforce and Tableau, is also required.

Smartsheet offers a competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 USD, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
