Smartsheet is seeking a dynamic and proactive Account Executive to join our Commercial Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving software sales and expanding our presence within a designated territory of mid-market accounts. As a key member of the sales team, you will identify growth opportunities and collaborate with clients to address their needs effectively.

Your primary responsibilities will include building and managing a sales pipeline to meet or exceed software and services sales quotas. You will execute a solution-based sales process involving multiple stakeholders within commercial accounts ranging from 500 to 4,999 employees. Developing new business opportunities within existing customers by targeting high-value needs across various departments will be essential. Additionally, you will leverage existing relationships to expand Smartsheet's footprint and drive revenue growth during renewals.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of full sales cycle management experience with a proven track record in the SaaS industry. A minimum of three years managing customer relationships in a B2B environment is required. A thorough understanding of the SaaS evaluation process and the ability to execute each stage in the sales cycle are crucial. Experience working with multiple functional departments to manage the customer lifecycle from initial engagement through implementation to renewal is also necessary. Proficiency in CRM and Power BI software, such as Salesforce and Tableau, is expected.

Smartsheet offers a competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000, with additional incentive opportunities.
