Utilizing expertise in one or more writing specialties—such as Creative Fiction Writing, Game Writing, or Technical Writing—the specialist will deliver high-quality curated data to improve Grok's outputs. Collaboration with engineers and other specialists is essential to develop tasks that advance the AI's writing proficiency. Additionally, the role includes improving annotation tools and workflows for efficiency and adapting to secondary tasks as needed.
Candidates must demonstrate proven proficiency in English and qualify in at least one writing specialty. Essential skills include the ability to critique and refine AI-generated text for readability, logical flow, grammar, consistency, style, creativity, and reader immersion. Strong attention to detail, experience with reference materials and style guides, flawless grammar and spelling, and excellent communication and editorial skills are required. Compensation for U.S.-based candidates ranges from $45 to $125 per hour, depending on the writing specialty, experience, skills, education, location, and qualifications.
