Workplace Operations Manager
The Workplace Operations Manager at Checkr is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the daily facilities operations of the San Francisco office. This position reports directly to the Director of Workplace and plays a significant part in shaping the company culture and enhancing the overall workplace experience. Checkr, established in 2014, is a leading data platform that empowers businesses to make safe and fair decisions, serving over 100,000 customers, including prominent names like DoorDash, Coinbase, Lyft, Instacart, and Airtable.
Key responsibilities include managing daily facilities operations such as janitorial services, HVAC maintenance, food services, and promptly addressing general maintenance issues. The role involves establishing strong partnerships with HR business partners, local management, and other stakeholders to implement strategies that enhance employee satisfaction and productivity. Additionally, the manager will leverage data analytics to assess operational efficiency, develop strategic plans for improvement, and execute the hybrid work strategy to ensure seamless operational continuity across various work arrangements.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six years of experience in operational facilities management, with a strong emphasis on enhancing employee experiences. At least two years of experience in roles requiring data-driven analysis to improve workplace environments is essential. Proficiency in tools such as Zoom Rooms, A/V technologies, GSuite, and Slack is required to support effective communication and collaboration. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with all levels, from vendors to executives, and to collaborate across various functions and stakeholders.
Compensation for this role ranges from $136,000 to $160,000 annually, with competitive cash and equity options.
