Workplace (Campus) Operations Lead
As the Workplace Operations Lead at Canva's Sydney campus in Surry Hills, you will oversee the daily operations of a 20,000 sqm facility comprising multiple office buildings, three kitchen operations, and an external café. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Vibe, you will lead large teams across hospitality, campus logistics, and experience, ensuring that every day is seamless, energizing, and distinctly Canva.
Your key responsibilities will include managing the end-to-end campus experience for both employees and visitors, ensuring consistency and ease of use. You will collaborate closely with Events, Internal Communications, and Hospitality teams to create intentional and well-orchestrated campus moments. Additionally, you will lead campus logistics, including guest services, workplace services, front-of-house operations, event logistics, and deliveries, while acting as the primary point of accountability for campus incidents and real-time decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have experience running large-scale, high-service operations such as tech campuses, workplace operations, or resort management. You should possess a proven ability to design and scale experiential programs that translate brand and culture into meaningful workplace experiences. Strong people leadership skills are essential, as is comfort with systems, processes, and frameworks to manage the complexities of the campus effectively. Strategic thinking, hands-on delivery capabilities, and a natural, energetic presence are also key attributes for success in this role.
