Workers' Compensation Litigation Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Daytona Beach, Florida. The firm is committed to providing comprehensive support to clients, ensuring their rights are defended against large corporations and insurance companies.

In this role, the paralegal will work closely with attorneys, providing support before, during, and after trials. Key responsibilities include preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and complaints; e-filing court documents in state and federal courts; communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel; conducting legal research and factual investigations; preparing discovery documents; coordinating and summarizing depositions; and assisting with trial preparation.

Candidates should possess an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with a preference for completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program. A minimum of two years of litigation experience is required, preferably in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or other injury-related practice areas. Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential.
