Warfighter Research Systems Specialist
The Warfighter Research Systems Specialist will be the inaugural member of the Advanced Capabilities team within Anduril Industries' Maneuver Dominance division in London. This team focuses on Capability Strategy, Mission Advantage, and Maneuver Advantage, guiding the development and deployment of cutting-edge military technologies. Anduril Industries is a defense technology company committed to transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology, including AI-powered systems like Lattice OS.
In this role, the specialist will conduct critical analyses to shape the roadmap for new Maneuver Dominance products, ensuring rapid development of capabilities for the warfighter. Responsibilities include producing well-researched presentations for executive audiences, conducting open-source market research to generate actionable insights, and applying critical thinking to develop concepts that address future combat scenarios. The specialist will collaborate across various programs and products, articulating the warfighter's perspective for both ground and air systems, and partner with operations analysis team members to inform simulation capabilities and experiment analysis.
Candidates must have 8-10 years of experience in defense, preferably in aviation, multi-domain operations, or specialist roles. A demonstrated curiosity and ability to learn beyond one's core discipline are essential. The role requires a humble and proactive individual who approaches tasks with a 'just-get-it-done' mindset and can operate independently without constant direction.
Preferred qualifications include over two years of experience in defense consulting or analytical roles, strong analytical aptitude with proficiency in executing analyses quickly in Excel, and comfort in communicating with large groups and senior leadership. An interest in various military doctrines and how different countries employ their capabilities is beneficial. Familiarity with aerospace systems, experience in developing multi-system mission-level simulations, and a technological inclination towards using current AI tools to enhance workflow are also advantageous.
