Warehouse Technician
Eurofins is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our Clinical Supplies Operation (CSO) Warehouse Team. This full-time, permanent position involves working 35 hours per week flexibly between 07:00 and 19:00. The role requires close collaboration with Quality, Drug Supply Managers, commercial sites, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and Logistics teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for managing the receipt, sampling, storage, dispensing, and dispatch of clinical trial materials, ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Good Storage Practice (GSP), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Key duties include operating electronic systems such as SAP for stock control and temperature monitoring, supporting GMP-compliant packaging and labeling activities, and maintaining adherence to transport security procedures and hazardous goods regulations. Additionally, the role involves liaising with Quality teams to maintain appropriate approvals and chain of custody, while safely operating counterbalance and reach forklift trucks.
Candidates should have relevant experience, ideally within a pharmaceutical warehouse or regulated environment, and a strong understanding of goods receipt, dispensing operations, and sampling location maintenance. Experience in preparing clinical trial materials with a focus on product stability, safety, and compliance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations is essential. Proficiency in electronic systems, including MS Office and SAP, is required to accurately manage stock disposition. A solid knowledge of GDP and GSP principles, along with experience working in line with GMP requirements, is necessary. A valid counterbalance and reach forklift truck license is also required.
