VP, Product Management
LaunchDarkly is seeking a Vice President of Product Management to lead and scale its product management organization. This role reports directly to the Chief Product Officer and is integral to shaping the company's product strategy and execution. As the leader of the product management team, the VP will collaborate closely with engineering, product design, marketing, sales, customer success, and finance to deliver a cohesive product experience.
The VP of Product Management will be responsible for establishing and leading the product management organization, ensuring effective resource allocation, maintaining a high talent bar, and building succession plans. They will oversee the product operating system, ensuring predictable execution of strategy into shipped software and met goals. Additionally, the VP will drive roadmap delivery across various product pillars, including Enterprise, Foundation, Observability, Experimentation, Agent Control, Automation, and the underlying platform. They will also be responsible for packaging execution and commercial outcomes, leading how pricing and packaging are implemented in the product and in the field.
Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in product management, including at least 7 years leading product managers and product leaders across a multi-product B2B platform. Experience leading a product management organization of 20 or more product managers at a company with approximately $100M to $500M in revenue is preferred. A track record of building and developing a product organization, rather than simply inheriting one, is essential. Candidates should also have demonstrated ability to turn company strategy into a reliable operating system that delivers roadmap commitments and measurable business outcomes.
Compensation for this role is competitive and includes a base salary, bonus target, and equity components. Specific compensation details are based on geographic zones and may vary depending on location and experience.
