Venue Manager
Fever, a leading global live-entertainment discovery tech platform, is seeking a Venue Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of venues in the region. This role involves scouting, negotiating, contracting, and ensuring smooth operations and financial monitoring of venues.
Key responsibilities include developing briefs for property agents, building and maintaining a network of agents and landlords, identifying and inspecting venue opportunities, negotiating terms with landlords, and progressing contractual terms with the legal team. The Venue Manager will also maintain and report monthly venue P&Ls, track OPEX, CAPEX, and revenue, introduce cost-saving measures, process venue invoices, and allocate pass-through costs correctly. Additionally, the role involves keeping venue documentation updated, ensuring compliance with management plans and legal standards, overseeing maintenance and security, drafting agreement templates, and managing site visits with partners.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in managing venues or warehouses, including knowledge of relevant legislation, and a strong background in real estate scouting, negotiations, construction, and permitting. Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and written, are essential, along with excellent organizational and time management abilities. Financial proficiency and business acumen are required, as well as a problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach. A strong academic background is a plus, and domestic travel may be required.
