UX Design - Internship
The UX Design Internship at SeatGeek offers an opportunity to contribute to the user experience of a leading live event ticketing platform. As a member of the UX team, you will collaborate with engineers and product managers to create high-quality, user-friendly experiences that address real problems and drive long-term business value. This 12-week summer internship is based in New York City, with a hybrid work model requiring on-site presence at least three days a week.
In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of customer needs, motivations, pain points, and behaviors by working closely with Product Management, UX Research, and Analytics teams. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive and effective user interfaces, actively participate in design reviews to refine and improve the quality of your work and the work of the entire UX team, and contribute to the ideation and development of user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
Ideal candidates are currently enrolled college students with some product design experience, familiarity with design tools such as Figma and Sketch, and a genuine interest in understanding customer needs and behaviors. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams are essential. A portfolio showcasing relevant design projects and problem-solving approaches is preferred.
Compensation for this role is $55 per hour USD, based on a 40-hour work week. Interns receive a $120 monthly credit for tickets to live events, a monthly commuter card for transportation, a subscription to Headspace, free lunch and snacks daily in the office, weekly planned events, and a housing stipend.
