The specialist will also perform root cause analysis on serious incidents, follow customer-defined policies for incident escalation and change control, respond to emergency alerts to restore normal operations promptly, and coordinate with various stakeholders including application programmers, support staff, Unisys, and third-party software providers.

The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in OS 2200 systems support, preferably with prior experience as a system programmer. Essential skills include a comprehensive understanding of the Unisys 2200 ecosystem, experience in booting OS 2200, installing third-party products, familiarity with COMUS and SOLAR, proficiency in Unisys OS 2200 executive control language (ECL), and the ability to obtain and interpret diagnostic data.
